Clean properly and then peroxide the area (gonna burn a bit). You can try the aloe thing as well, sometimes it works.
Commonly used as treatment for disinfecting wounds, there is a body of evidence, e.g. [58] and many reports since, that the use of large volumes of hydrogen peroxide over substantial tissue areas can lead to a dangerous oxygen embolism (gas embolism). While judicious use on surface wounds can utilize the catalase-caused "fizzing" effect to assist debridement and cleaning of soil from the wound, clinicians are recommended to consult the literature before using peroxide on wounds and tissue cavities. It has also been shown that hydrogen peroxide, even in dilute solutions and minute quantities can slow the healing process on wounds.[2][59][60][61] Further, hydrogen peroxide applied to wounds can impede healing and lead to scarring because it destroys newly formed skin cells.[62]

Had that after an op & the nurses tried changing the bandage. That day I learned I was wrong about being immune to the blood thing. Def felt a little woozy after I saw that. Wasn't even a lot, but (your own) pulsing blood flow has this surreal sense of "oh this can't be good" about it./faints
