How to use free airtime on iPad

Hi

I recently recharged my 8ta account and got the free airtime, but then I also bought data bundles. How can I use the airtime on ipad instead of my bundles?

Because the airtime will be expiring soon and I cant purchase bundles with the free airtime.

Don't you have device that takes a micro-sim card if you don't then you out of luck or alternatively if you kept the placeholder (normal size sim and pushed the micro-sim card) just take it the micro-sim card out of the ipad and place it back in placeholder and put it into your smartphone and call a friend/girlfriend/family relative. If you don't have it anymore just go to checkers and buy (Sim-soneke) twin pack for 99cent.

Unfortunately you cannot transfer free airtime but you can transfer airtime original topped up with example R100.

To op in future get another simcard from 8ta/Telkom Mobile, make sure you on the 8ta/Telkom Mobile more tariff load your airtime on that simcard, then transfer the airtime value to your iPad 8ta sim card. That way you can use your free airtime on normal size sim card instead of inconveniencing yourself every time to remove the sim card and place it into a handset

I think what I can also do next time is, instead of buying the data bundles immediately, first use the airtime and once it expires or runs out, then only buy the bundles.

My free airtime is always used by my device first, followed by the bundle.
