how to waste bandwidth

heh... thats absurd.

dont really play online games, except rise of nations :D

Rise Of Nations is great. I should try playing it online sometime, I take it it works well with iBurst then?

Maybe I'll destroy your little lesbian loving race online if I ever start playing... Guildwars looks so much better :/

Need some advice on online gaming with iBurst. Will High Resolution 3D games, like Carbon, America's Army etc work with it? I've played a few strategy games online and they all work fine. But what about the ones mentioned above?

games like that require a lot lower and more consistent latency. FPS games I guess you mean.

You might or might not be able to play them, depends on your connection but it will be worse than strategy games. Also playing locally helps a lot, so try the SGS servers if you aren't already.

Carbon is *playable* on iBurst.

Opponent cars occasionally teleport around the track but everything else is smooth as gravy. Best racing game on iBurst is definitely Trackmania tho.

I play FEAR Combat online all the time...my ping is around 70-150 which is very good. :P

Also CS:S updates(patches) are alot more than 500MB...something like 1.5GB?

Updating my various Linux distros helps eat away at the bandwidth as well.

Assuming you can stand the 30000 files you initially have to download for the game to truly be complete, GW runs smoothysmooth.

iBurst has excellent pings for a wireless service. Far beyond what you need for guildwars to be playable.
