how to?

I have a 1TB drive with my OS on it and all my stuff, running Vista 64.
I am only using 400 gigs.
Is there a way to clone this drive onto a 500 gig drive and use that instead?
I want to use the 1TB for something else.
I just dont feel like loading a new OS and loading all my programs from scratch.

Yip, Ghost and Acronis both let you increase/decrease the size of your disk....

just re-install. 30 minutes, and go for a proper OS this time, like Win7 64bit.
