How/where can I get an E5186 LTE-A router?

2300MHz for TM.

Here they advertise it:

Here it is R4299 with 60GB + 60GB prepaid for 12 months.

So I went to Centurion Mall - clueless about this deal.
PM'd TelkomZA - could not help
HelloPeter - also to no avail

How do you get it without signing a stupid 36 month contract?

Got it from Centurion Mall Telkom.

Speed currently the same as B593 since LTE-A is not yet active but if Telkom can keep their promise I should have LTE-A at the end of the month :-)

Is it worth R4299 with the 60GB+60GB data, absolutely! The wifi is ac and 5G band also, Ethernet is Gigabit and it has an app for the phone and with the hillink api you get this info also:

pci = 92
cell_id = 2818050
rsrq = -3dB
rsrp = -75dBm
rssi = -51dBm
sinr = 15dB
mode = 7

Suggestion to Telkom Mobile to partner up with takealot moving these bad boys off the shelves. I also want one now after reading

On the speedtest, I'm sure the tower is limited to 50Mb/s since it get stuck at exactly 50Mb/s.

The unit is a -61a if I remember correctly.
 
That's a serious price to pay for it. I bought mine for R4299 from Telkom in Centurion. With 60GB prepaid data. Best internet decision ever!

My local Telkom office at Clearwater Mall has them in stock.

Just tried to purchase the the E5186s-61a at Telkom Clearwater Mail and they would not sell it on prepaid, only with a contract.
 
Wow - okay - that's bad news. Well there you have it folks. (Sorry)

Again this is in complete contradiction to what the OP posted (what Telkom is advertising). :(

When they changed/removed the 60+60GB prepaid deals to 50GB they also removed the options to buy the devices with these deals.
 
Completely different products. Your device is for ADSL, this is for mobile data.
