OK, so I am looking at this laptop for my Dad, mainly for office work and watching the odd DVD or two.

The cheapest I have seen is R 7,979.00 from Technovision

But I should be able to get it for around R 7,400.00 from Matrix computers on my account after discount.

Should be great if your dad will only be working with office apps and watching DVDs. Actually you can almost take half of the specs and it will still do a good job. Pretty decent lappie IMO.

It's kinda average in my opinion. The price isn't bad, but nothing makes it special and I refuse to spend more than R7k on a laptop that doesn't have anything special about it.
