Hp 14 running slow

Hi Guys

My laptop packed up and I had to get a new one. I bought the HP 14 PQC. I dont need much because its only used for office work. The specs are Intel Quad Core with 4GB RAM and Windows 10 installed.

Got home this afternoon and started it up, but it is so slow that it is almost unusable. I cant see that any work could be done on it. Just to add, the office pc is a Celeron with 2GB Ram and running way faster!

What could be the problem?

Brand new out of the box trouble OR you bought a second hand unit?

Take it back to where you bought it and ask them tocheck it out

Take it back and ask to install Windows version that works. This laptop should have downgradable rights.

If you are in JHB area I can help with downgrading and I may be interested to buy your broken laptop as well.

Format and reinstall, all the bloat is horrible for a low end laptop.
