Do you know if that LCD will work on an HP Probook 7420s?

The serial number is 2CE0330MT-1

Thank you.

1. I spoke to OP about charger - also looking for - he said it was blown and could not find it.
If your charger is not working, speak to me, there is typical fault easy to fix, maybe I can help.
If you tossed it away, you are out of luck. :(

2. Charger for this laptop is very popular, used in many HP laptops. Characteristic feature is the plug with a large drum and very thin pin inside. Just check if your laptop requires 60W or 90W, there are two versions. Voltage is between 18.5V and 19.5V (depends on the laptop), but can be swapped without problem.

Hey there SAjunky, well i did find the charger, i cant remember what i said back then, im testing it with the multimeter but i get no 19v output, the 3 point plug which connects to the charger works fine but its the charger giving no power, as i mentioned the cable was taped on point and still looks perfectly intact, maybe there is some other point on the wire which is faulty. I will have to check or either throw it away cause i cannot waste time on it no more.

The charger seems to be broken, i tried cutting the cable at the point and testing it but it seems there is no luck, i will remove it from the post & put it in the scrap box. Sorry for the misunderstandings !

It would be better if you didn't touch and cut cable. Charger is most certainly broken, as it blew up laptop, remember? Maybe I could repair it, or just use a plug, but you couldn't find it in the right time.
Wrong design, usually LM393 gets blown in the laptop - common issue, easily to fix. However you ripped laptop to parts - forcefully - tearing up a bolt from the keyboard which was subsequently sold to me.
Next time you sell parts download service manual and learn how to dismantle laptop without making any damage to it.

I already threw the charger away and removed it from the topic, i dont see how the keyboard could of given you any problems as it was the easiest component to remove, i also mentioned that you could bring it back if there were any problems.

Thank you. You are guided by the wrong spirit.
The easiest component? If you did the same with other components, I don't think it is worth to buy anything from you.
There was a third screw inside pocket. You only removed two screws, damaging keyboard. Initially I tried to swap two missing caps on my keyboard, but these keyboards (even with the same part number) come from different OEM and lifting mechanism is different. So I installed your keyboard and further damage showed up. Delete key was randomly activating by merely touching like on the touch screen. There is some lose washer separated from the missing bolt floating around, I can't remove it. After some fiddling and shaking, I got stable key respone, but don't know what will be tomorrow.
