HP 6730B max resolution ?, Vodacom 500MB

If any one of you have this package, please check the max resolution for me.

The guys at VC cant help me with the full specification of this new business laptop. I need to find out if it can do 1680x1050.

Specs are 2.26GHz, Intel 2 Duo
15.4 XWGA {Is this only max 1280x800}
4096 RAM
250GB HD

15.4" WXGA (1280 x 800 resolution) or
15.4" WXGA BrightView (1280 x 800 resolution) or
15.4" WSXGA+WVA (1680 x 1050 resolution

WSXGA+WVA display is optional and not a standard offering , not sure if its a different display card only or laptop screen as well.

Perhaps I should have stated, this model has many sub models. {IE, different CPU, ram, HD, display card configs}

So searching on HP is no help, as I dont have the sub model code. Thats why I am asking the VC spec if someone has this bundle.

I suspect it is only WXGA, and not WSXGA+WVA (1680 x 1050) what I was hoping for.

Where did you get the info on the sub model code.

I have FU529ES. The Vodacom specs I have does have a 250GB drive with 4GB ram. Both nothing on display except WXGA

HP 6730 Specks

The guys at Vodacom could also not tell me what is what so I did some researching of my own. The features described is a intel core 2 due P8400 processor with a 15.4 WXGA screen and 4096mb ram and 250gid drive. So what I have discovered by searching is this must be the hp 6730b range because it’s the only model with the build in Vodafone modem (3G). What I can gather is that’s the same range but with more ram and a big hard drive.
But still can’t really say until I get it. I will let you know what’s what.

I would appreciate it, as the way I read it, there are 3 sub models just on the display.

WXGA (1280 x 800)
WXGA (1280 x 800) with Bright View
WSXGA+WVA (1680 x 1050). This is the model I am after.

Isn’t it pathetic that I have to post this question here
