HP Compaq 615 series (AMD)

Hi all,

Selling (by request) 2 of these laptops to a client.
Busy installing XP and i noticed the heat (from the side) that is blowing out is very hot.

Much hotter than normal, who else has noticed this?!?

I have two, one on Vista and the other on Windows 7. They seem to be very cool but perhaps after you have installed Windows XP be sure to install the AMD Cool'n'Quiet driver for the CPU.

I have both the Intel and the AMD - the AMD does run slightly hotter, but not much more than the Intel. I always use a laptop cooler on mine, which works wonders. Any chance of getting the temps? My AMD runs Win7 and the average temp is around 45-48 degrees, at normal use.
