Does anyone know HP's support email or a telephone nr - that i can phone to get some quotes for callout+repair/replacement of a faulty hp530 usb port set.

Their website is pretty useless :P
 
Warranty repairs are done by a company called "LetMeRepair" on 0115420200.
They are in Midrand Corporate Business Park - next to Sahara.

thx for the info....ICSS i shall avoid. have had SERIOUS issues with them indirectly in the past... pathetic service at best!
 
"LetMeRepair" have taken over from ICSS...same building...same staff...same bad service!

HP Really need to catch a wake up when it comes to repairs & Warranty!

Shows you how long it's been since I sent something there for a repair: The service was THAT BAD
 
I needed to replace my battery for my laptop. HP SA doesn't have that battery so I had to buy the extended battery..... doesn't sound like good service.

Targus is HP's official repair agency. You could try contact them. Not sure about their number but they are in Midrand somewhere.

Have you tried Partserve for battery, they are auth spares crowd for out-of-warranty parts. I have found them to be costly though, but worth a try.
There are also places that re-pack batteries for around R500.

Targus?? They make carry bags. Must be Tarsus - last they were in Wynberg though. Only Distributors to my knowledge
 
A friend of mine with an HP laptop got sent to them in Midrand a month ago. I have already paid for the battery. Getting it tomorrow. I have an HP Pavilion laptop so Incredible Corruption has an exclusive to it. Only place able to get me the battery I needed (believe me I went to a lot of places)
 
Axiz distributes them via their retail channel - being Incredible rip-off and other larger retails shows like Makro, HiFi corp and so on.
I am a dealer with Axiz, but not retail enough to source it:eek:
