HP N40L Microserver

Good News from Dubai , Check the special on the N54L again we have managed to drop the price even further as we just committed to take another 1000 units for next week

If you still seeing the R1799.00 please refresh the page as the pricing is lower
Is it still R1799

That's probably because the Roku box can do direct play, while the PS3 and Xbox needed transcoding.

I'd be surprised if the N40L can transcode 1080p on the fly

I have win8, plex media server on mine transcoding for the smart tv in the lounge and a wdtvlive in another room

Anymore available still?

So today I think my HP N40L nic stuffed out. It keeps pulling my switches port LED`s down.
I assume getting a replacement motherboard is impossible ?

Can one use any NIC or do you have to opt for one of these ?

I already have a display card in the PCIe slot and wanted to add a sound card for 5.1 audio.
So much for that. Also i`ve been trying to find an hdmi to 5.1 audio splitter...

Motherboard replacement is not an option, costs more to do this than to buy an entire new Microserver.

Only option would be a low profile PCI-e 1x NIC.

If it is less than a year old HP will replace your motherboard. Any low profile NIC should work
