I have an HP Pavilion DV9521ei Notebook and I would like to get a new battery for it. I have tried a few places in Johannesburg, but it seems that nobody have it in stock. Would appreciate it if some one can put me in touch with any one that I can contact. I have tried Digital Planet and even they do not have any in stock.

I've just ordered one of Ebay for a quarter of the asking price here but it's coming from China and it's going to take up to 3 weeks. Let's see what I get... Could be a bit of a lemon but at R500 I'm prepared to take the chance... Locallly the same battery is R2034.90 inc vat from SPL (http://www.spl.co.za/) .. They have stock but at that price they can keep it. Battery for a DV9291 Pavilion...

Local notebook?
Is this a local notebook? My supplier has an 8 cell battery for the DV 9000 series but she is not sure that this was a model that they brought in.
FYI: hpshop and Digital Planet are run as different businesses but we do use the same suppliers.
