Anyone know if I can just connect a normal wireless adapter to an HP printer that does not have wireless support? (HP 845c)

It seems as if the answer is probably no because the device itself can't be configured with an IP address.

Perhaps there is an inexpensive (R500 or less) way to wirelessly connect my printer directly to the network? Actually I may put an ethernet wireless adapter near there so an ethernet solution would also be grand.

You can use a DLINK print server... You connect the printer to the print server using usb or parallel and then you connect the print server to your network...

I use the 1 without wireless, but I have it linked to a wireless router so I can still access it wireless..

The 1 I have sells for around R500 to R600, so not sure abd the price on the wireless..
