Hi Guys, I am looking for one of these or something similar which is small and headless.

I will be used for downloads and streaming around the house via Apple Tv, PS3 etc...

Anyone know where i can get one for a good price?

Thanks
D

There were a number of them kicking around in the classifieds, but since the latest N54L model is quite a bit more expensive you may have to try harder to pry these out of sticky hands.

Agreed, the price above is not bad.

I made offer to the guy in classifieds for R4500 for his Proliant..he hummed/hah & said he had 2 pending offers.:-
I then got the NS4L HP MicroServer for R1330 incl vat, insurance & shipping - received it at 1pm. Same bank so funds cleared immediately. For my purposes it's just right! Will stick in a 3TB for entire family's backup.

:wtf: That's seriously cheap! You sure it is the N54L?

Yep, it is.......
I think he made a typo though (NS4L ---> N54L) Specs are .......Specs: Processor: AMD Turion™ II Neo N54L (2.2GHz), AMD RS785E/SB820M chipset, Memory:, Two (2) DIMM slots, 2GB (1x2GB) Standard or 4GB (1x4GB)/8GB Maximum, using PC3-10600E DDR3 Unbuffered (UDIMM) ECC memory, operating at max. 800MHz, Storage Controller:, Embedded AMD SATA controller with RAID 0, 1, Embedded AMD eSATA controller for connecting external storage devices via the eSATA connector in the rear of the server

Edit: Sorry! The last of our stock just got sold out! Will remove from the website........

Looks to me like they made a mistake with the price because Mitos say they do not have any stock left.

[-]NS4L[/-] N54L HP MicroServer for R1330 incl vat, insurance & shipping

At that price I would have ordered 3 now :/ Hell, maybe 5.

Nope, we didn't - actually just took down a guy's addy from UCT for a back order; turned down another dealer for 30, cause he was haggling for better price. And another guy from CT, was still querying shipping info to him, when my colleague brought to my attention - all sold out!

Thanks guys so I can get the N40L new for R1900 with 2gb (Standard setup) now i am wondering if I should throw in the extra R500 and go with the N54L . Is it going to be worth going for the bigger one ? Essentially this box will be for automated my downloads (Torrents & NZB's) and as a source for all my media to stream to the apple tvs ?

Here's your chance then...we have some stock coming in later today...however @ price is R 2000.00 incl vat, insurance & shipping, Gauteng only.

Are these Units still available? I am interested?
