You have to connect the Molex connector for this particular card, Initially I thought that the cards were faulty since the USB3 card on my main PC also have a Molex connector but it doesn't need external power

Did the card come with a driver CD, or did your O/S detect & load drivers automatically ?

Get a Molex Y-splitter cable and connect it to 5.25" bay's power

Yes, but they are outdated so I didn't bother to use the disc

Chipset is VIA-800

I'm running this under Linux, didn't see any Linux drivers on the disc.

I'm not using the optical drive bay, so might be able to use its power

Apparently this card has poor Linux support as per:

Rather look for one based on NEC's chipset

My soundbar keeps turning off. It's a power saver setting to turn off after 20m if there's no audio signal. So when I'm using the usb sound card, there's no audio signal but I still need the video. Any idea how to turn it off.

Edit: Think putting it on tv speaker will work. Nope

Biggest issue was gwtring a molex extender for the power...

Thats the thing, its not there. The HISTORY tab shows that the process failed for (location of movies) but its also not even there.

I am really no expert but it sounds as though the movie wasn't available at the site.

NB: There are a couple of threads on MyBB that deal with news servers. Best search / re-post there ...

Can you please post a link ... I've been considering a USB 3 card but have been concerned that a generic card might not run under WHS2011 ... that said, WHS forums report that Syba is cool ...
