HP ProLiant MicroServer

Can someone recommend a UPS to support a Microserver with 5 drives and must be able to shutdown the microserver in the event of a power failure.

If anyone wants to run Debian on the N54L, mine has been running smoothly for the past month or so.

Only problem is the old version of XBMC in the repositories (v11 - Eden).

Hi there,

I just got a new HP Microserver N54L. Can anyone please suggest a graphics card that is currently available that will fit? I'm also running Ubuntu 13.04.

Thanks

I have an MSI 5450 running in mine - works well. Be careful of something like the GT210 - I initially got an ASUS one, but the newer models have a massive cooler that doesn't get past the frame.

Most of the models listed above should work 100% though, like I say, just check the cooler. :)

Can you update from the normal generic build to the 64bit one (openelec) or will this mess with the settings? I am currently running 3.2.0 and want to update and thought I should try the generic 64bit 3.2.2 stable release.

If anyone is interested, I bought a low profile Geforce GT210 graphics card 2 weeks ago for my HTPC, but not going to use it anymore. R300 or to swop for an Xbox 360 controller. :)

Still have the receipt as well.

Just a week too late!
