I spent hours looking for info on this and even started a new thread asking for help. Ai. Blind as a bat this one.
What PSU are ya'll using? Doubt the stock one will be able to power a couple of HDD's, optic drive and GPU. Or will it?

I have seen instances where his had a gpu and 4 x 3TB drives in the stock psu.
The stock PSU will be fine, as long as you observe the max power draw on the GPU, so with a GT210 or similar it will be fine. I have 5 HDD's in my NAS configuration, granted no GPU though.

Awesome! But in the pic, the metal plate at the back of the card looks too big to fit into the rear pci slot of the N45L. Does one have to remove this metal plate from the card (also eliminating the VGA out port) and then fit? If yes, is it an easy removal.
Also, without a back metal panel, I would assume the card would flex when plugging and unplugging a HDMI cable into it so to prevent system lockup, cable plugin or outs should take place while the server is unplugged?
That is the standard profile kit. A low profile kit is included which is interchangeable.

Yes. You will be changing the bracket to a shorter (lower) one. You will lose the vga port.
And very easy to do. Shouldn't take longer than 3minutes. You are going to remove 4 screws by hand and one with a star screwdriver. Bracket then slides off. You fit the new one and replace 3 of the 5 screws.
Does the Takealot GT210 card also come with a low profile bracket? It doesn't say anything on their site

Weekend voucher says you have to spend R500 or more. Have you tried to use it yet?

Yep. The voucher works if you spend more than R500. But I checked in my inbox another voucher from Ebucks/Takealot for R100 off R250. Tried to use both vouchers, but when you use one it cancels out the other. So, with the R100 voucher, managed to get it for R289 with free delivery. Code is "TryTakealot" . Hope it works

Thanks for the voucher lead, used it successfully! Sadly Takealot have bled all their stock of this card, so I have a week's wait until my order arrives.... oh well!
To those who have slid out the motherboard to install a PCI card before on one of the HP Microservers - how involved is the removing of cables off the board and then replugging in? Best plan to take a photo and then plug in per the original setup?
