For how much?
The consensus earlier in the thread was this: http://www.takealot.com/computers/gigabyte-gt210-1gb-ddr3-graphics-card,10795297
I ordered one, but chickened out and cancelled when I realised I would have to unplug everything to slide the motherboard out of the chassis.....
Without finding that consensus, can someone clear this up for me: that card says it requires at least 300W PSU while this server's PSU is 150W. Do I have something wrong? Have I misunderstood?
Not sure about the reason for the W ratings but I have used that card in my proliant for some time now without any issues.
From this thread and other Proliant threads, it is one of the most common cards used.
Make sure to use the R50 voucher for Takealot (Take2014). Expires on the 31st Jan.
Yes it does. I confirmed with Takealot the last time I bought mine.Cool thanks. Does it include the low profile bracket?

Thanks a ton
Colour me impressed - after your post about the low bracket, I went onto Takealot and ordered it. Around 4-ish monday. According to speed services, it is at my PO box now. Not bad at all.
And the R50 voucher is sweet too - got it for R329 (R100 cheaper than even Esquire).
Hi guys, Back to refreshing my Media Center again.
Please confirm the latest version (and name) of OPENELEC for HP ProLiant N40L Microserver.
By the way, still can't get it to see my 3TB hard drives.
Is it not visible in the BIOS or in the OS?
Its visible in the BIOS and when OPENELEC installs it does pick it up. But when I map to it from my windows laptop, I see only DISK 2. I cannot see DISK 3 or DISK 4. Even WinSCP can't see it.
Just can't get this issue right.
Because you have to tell Openelec which drives to share. You do that in the samba.conf.sample file, and then rename it to samba.conf
You'll see in that file a section that looks like this:
[Videos]
path = /storage/videos
available = yes
browsable = yes
public = yes
writable = yes
root preexec = mkdir -p /storage/videos
To quickly break this down:
where you add your drives to be shared. Just remember to use quotes for the path names or it won't pick it up. I spent an age trying to figure that one out...
But where do I specify DISK 3 or DISK 4? Would this be the disk label?
I don’t know when you purchased that item but these are new stocks that came in this week at USD rate of 10.54/ R1
We currently selling them at R R79.00excl as per system price but can do a price of R 69.00excl
