Can anyone recommend a really good WiFi USB 300n dongle they have bought locally for the HP Microserver?

Is anyone using their MS as both a download machine and a HTPC for playback?
I want to use mine with Sickbeard for series dowloads and as a playback machine for media. The MS will be permanently hard wired to my router and connected to my AVR via HDMI.
I still havnt decided on what OS to use as yet. Researching my options.............
me me me....
I have a MS with 2 * 3TB hard drives + 250 GB that came with it.
Put in 8GB RAM and Sapphire HD6450 Graphics Card
Got one of these esquire mini keyboards but dont really use it. More using the harmony 900 with hauppauge receiver.
Using Windows Home Server 2011. Have XBMC, Sickbeard, Couch Potato, SABNzbd+, uTorrent all tightly integrated.
Awesome, Cant believe I didnt do it sooner. All my episodes are waiting for me now, rather than me waiting for them like before.
I got them all setup so I can manage all of these apps/view all my cameras from anywhere in the country. Also, have all my ipcams recording to this little server.
Awesome device for the money...
I also want to be able to pass dowloads to the machine via a web interface. Maybe later look into nzb.
If I understand you correctly, SABnzb does this well.

If you want just regular downloads and not nzb's, Jdownloader has a web interface.
This is what I need. I'm currently running openelec while I wait for eden.
Do you think there's an advanatage running WHS + XBMC over Ubuntu + XBMC?
Is there a sleep mode or a lowe(er) power mode that WHS goes into when not in use? Will it power down the usb ports? I have two externals plugged in that are now always on as the microserver is always on - hence the question. Also will accessing the microserver over the network automatically wake it up from sleep?
I want to go with XBMCbuntu and then setup an automated downloader (http as I use downstorm). I also want to be able to pass dowloads to the machine via a web interface. Maybe later look into nzb. Will linux be able to do this? I'm trying not to go with WHS since its propietary and if windows is anything to go by, resource hungry. Also the new XBMCbuntu seems purpose built for what i'm trying to do.
All my other machines are Win7. I would also want to do automatic backups of personal files to the server.

I have found a flaw in my plan.
I often run a 3.5mm extension + headphones from my xbmc.
The microserver with hdmi didn't give me that option.
Solution usb sound card?
I run the HDMI into a 4x2 matrix HDMI switch. The switch splits the video and audio into HDMI and Toslink on the first output (retains the audio on the HDMI too).
From there the Toslink hours to my amp and HDMI to projector (output 1).
The amp then goes to my Turtle Beach PX5 which transmits 7.1 to the PX5 headset wirelessly. Works wonders.
