HP ProLiant MicroServer

How does a standalone sound system hook up with the microserver?

The simplest solution is sound over HDMI (ie your amp/receiver needs to have HDMI ports). AFAIK, the Microserver doesn't have onboard sound (other than PC speaker).

An alternative solution would would probably be to buy a suitable sound card (digital or optical out) and have your amp process the sound.

I think most people are using the former. Hope that helps.

if your samba is messed up delete the samba.conf file in the ConfigFiles share.
