For the sake of 200 pages :

My 2 hpms are running flawlessly . One is a download machine running win7 the other running openelec .

Thanks to the OP and all the posters that helped. :)
 
Switched to xbmcbuntu after running openelec for a long time, haven't had any issues with sound and playback is a lot smoother
 
I'm staying on b3 for now. B4's video codecs seem flaky. My machine doesn't sleep though.
 
my htpc has been driving me crazy at the moment. It is overscanning and I am losing a lot of the picture. Running a Sapphire HD6450 graphics card. Updated drivers, worked for a couple of days and back again.

It even overscans on the bios check page etc. uninstalled the drivers, did a safe mode, deleted the devices etc but still no luck.

now went into catalyst manager and it says no device found. wtf?

this catalyst driver really really sucks..

anyone have any ideas?
 
For those planning on getting a Logitech Harmony from Loot :/

Ja I know, I ordered the 300i instead and will leave the leftover bucks for when the 600 arrives :(

I have bought one from mh348 and I can confirm that I received it and it works. It works perfectly in Windows with my Harmony 650, but I can't get it to work in Ubuntu/XBMCbuntu (I haven't spent a lot of time trying. Hour at most.)
 
Could someone with the iSonic receiver from Bios Online and Harmony remote combo using Windows maybe install Plex and see if it works. If it works with XBMC one would assume it should work in Plex, but just to be sure. Would be greatly appreciated.
