At $200 + I am quiet happy with my R200 650 thx.
Hahaha yeah it is rather pricey but surely in a few months the price will come down...

Just have a question regarding the scraping - I know it is possible to get the Series Theme music too for each series, does this get downloaded automatically when you get the series info and art or do I need to do this manually or what is the procedure? All my series has been "scraped" but can't see or hear the theme music playing so am just a little curious...

Sorry I haven't replied in a while, yes Plex does get the theme music by default, but not all shows have them, which of yours don't have the music?
Also is this on Plex Media Center on the HP itself or via the iPad?

Not on Ubuntu 12, does not support hardware acceleration so you have to use a work around. Otherwise it is a really nice card but ATI's support on linux is ****

None of my shows play the theme music... When is it meant to play music, when I have a show selected, when I am browsing different episodes? I tried selecting a series and an episode but there was nothing. This is on the HP itself through Plex Media Center. Yesterday I even did a force refresh (Shift+ refresh button bottom right corner) to see if that would help but nothing.
Do I not need to add it under agents maybe? Or is it in there by default? I actually haven't seen that it is possible to add new agents to get data from so I think it must be there already?
Also another thing I noticed, in the Plex Media Server, I had a few episodes that did not show up but that was due to wrong naming, so I renamed the episodes correctly and then they showed up in the server but they still do not show up in the Plex Media Center for some reason, any ideas?

Just check in Plex Media Server under preferences - agents - thetvdb - plex theme music.
It should start playing as soon as you browse the show. I think you may have screwed yourself with the shift-refresh, as far as I know that rescrapes everthing including metadata, if you have shows that don't show you should do alt-refresh.

Anyone play around with zoneminder?

I will have a look there now. When I did the shift-refresh, it went over all my media but definitely didn't re-scrape everything. It was over in 30 minutes so all was ok. Except there are shows that still didn't show anything.
With regards to tv shows that show up in the plex server but not when I browse my media center, is there anyway to get these to show? Originally they where named incorrectly but I fixed the naming and now see them in the server but not in the media player, very weird. Any ideas?

One of my mates came around, and asked whether I could copy over some 'linux ISO's from my downloads.
When he arrived home, and plugged in the drive into his PC - it asks him if he wants to format the RAW partition.
It's the second time this happens to him - and he;s now probably lost all his info copied to the drive ?

I have a 650, but the 700 (or 750?) would be my ideal choice. Not too expensive and has all the same features as my one, but with nicer buttons and a colour LCD.
He using Windoze? Will probably work if he plugs his drive into a Linux or Mac box. Did you reformat the drive or something? You might've made it ext2. Or did you actually write the ISO to the drive instead of copying the .iso file?
Either way I wouldn't panic just yet. Get him to boot off an Ubuntu or Hiren's CD and see if it'll access the drive, for starters.

Tried that - didn't work at all. not even linux live cd is able to pick up the drive :'(
