HP ProLiant MicroServer

I love my MYBB :D Was looking for a Microserver and saw this thread, called them and booked the last one for R1199.

Dammit won't be able to get to esquire today! I didn't get that special notification! This microserver is proving to be elusive! No one In cape town got a spare one? :p

call them and place the order for collection on monday

Ya cape town. Just picked it up. Last one omission afraid.

Got my flirc & working just great. So easy my 8yr old son set it up!!!
We did have some problem deciding on what remote to use though, but ended up on the TopTV remote.
Its been unused for almost a year.
Found good use for it.
Those of u who don't have a remote for your HTPC yet, get a flirc. Its really worth it.

Hello there All!

It's Andrew here from ProcSum. I hope to be able to supply everyone wanting a Flirc unit with this awesome device. I think I'm going to open a separate thread for suggestions on imports and products I could sell.

Hope you're all having a good time with your HTPC's!

I still can not read that as anything but ProScum :(
Why brain why?!?!?

I hope someone can help me here

If I had to buy all the components for the HTPC (HP Proliant obviously), can I get suggestions on who can setup up the entire system for me? I can probably do this if I had to but cannot take the time and effort right now in having to build it myself.

I will be prepared to compensate for time and effort - I'm in Midrand

I could do it for you if interested (also in Midrand). I have 5 brand new Microservers that I'm going to be putting up for sale shortly, could bundle one for you at a decent price along with the setup if you're interested.

ag no you are in midrand..:(

how much will you be selling the microservers for?

Not sure yet, probably around R1500 or so (definitely cheaper than what the shops are selling them for). Picked up a lot of servers a while ago, don't need these currently.

Hi,

Thanks! Can you please pm with contact details and we can take it from there.

Ah man that is the fun part! I would do it for free if I was in midrand.

I just received my Flirc, and everyone wanting to control their HTPC flawlessly with zero effort or issues has to buy one right now, I'm pretty sure it runs on magic.

Plugged it into my PC, took my Harmony and used the Flirc software to map the keys I wanted, less than a minute and everything was perfect, smooth scrolling and super responsive. I couldn't be more pleased with it.

You can order from Procure Some but he is sold out and only expecting another shipment in 3 weeks so pre-order now.

Think mine is waiting at home as well. Might just hang on to my harmony as well.

Ok so the little flirc'ie works great, only thing im missing is when in xbmc file manager i usually right click with my esquire wireless mini keyboard then i get the copy/move/rename etc menu.
How do i assign that to a key on my remote with flirc?
This is only thing i am missing, not a major issue but would be useful to have.
