I'm looking for a replacement for the laptop I'm using as a media centre at the mo (need to give it to my mom after hers was stolen!!!) I mostly use it to watch movies off a hdd with kodi through my tv and hifi. What reliable android tv box would you recommend that is currently on the market. I noticed an MX III box strapped to the back of a monitor in Mr price showing those demo go pro videos, so I've been looking into that box. But I've seen from many of your posts that you prefer the rk3368 to the s812 chips.

Also is the international shipping on the site you linked reliable? I've had so much stuff go missing in the post, I've vowed to never use it again!

But it's R2500 at the current exchange rate, which is pretty steep for me right now...

But the mx iii m.aliexpress.com/item-desc/32580740982.html is less than US $50 so it's a third of the price. I see it only has a 2A psu and doesn't have hdmi but since I only really have 1080p content to play and it will all be off a usb hdd I'm not sure it's worth the extra to get the hph.

Thoughts..?
