Dump it in the bin and get yourself a B970 router. :)

I'll have a look at it. PM me your number.

guess you were trying the ps3 online ....... BUMMER maybe u should get the B970 YOU know my one works

You could always try and take it to a VodaCare shop...say your modem stopped working....they should swop it out for you.

i also have a user who called last week... modem not found in windows/VMC.
its just dead, USB ports are fine
Vodashop guy collecting tomorrow.... it is still practically new got it about 4 months on new contract, so still under warranty (only 12months warranty, yet its 24month contract :( )

Vodacom supplied Modem?

I agree...all Vodacom handsets/modems carry 24 month warranty. Only laptops/accesories might differ as per the manufacturer stipulated warranty.

If you PM me your IMEI number on the modem I can check the warranty status on the system.

I also thought the modem (like a phone) should at least be covered for the period of the contract.
I checked again now the mail from the Vodacom Business guy... "It does have a year warranty..."
I will check with him, when he comes this morning to collect it, to gimme a loaner.

Maybe he made a typo? Or he just doesn't know!

PM me the IMEI number and I will send you the warranty report back...showing when the warranty commenced and how many months you have left....then you will know for sure what the status is. :)
