Possibly, if they know for a fact if a specific model does or doesn't work.

You can also post here and I can check up or the forum can give feedback, we probably have the highest concentration of notebook users here.

Most of your lastest notebooks will work , as long as they running XP and have A PCMCIA slot

There's been a few reports of incompatibility, one common cause is the shielding on the notebook not being good enough. This results in screen distortion or even the mouse acting up when using a 3G card.

Maybe we should start a thread where forumites can give their notebook models and outline any problems they are having or if they haven't experienced any.

Yes there are , especially the Siemens Fujistu's ,IBM's, Acer and Mercer. It seems to the architecture of the notebook itself , however these problems are mostly with the Novatell cards and with the ealier dashboard versions.

The simple solution is to keep the original software disc in the cd rom drive and update the drivers. Windows likes to load its own generic drivers, so updating the driver then seems to force windows to use the manufactures drivers..

I havent has any problems after that..

Not been reading the FAQ again? :)

We have a link there to a laptop 'white-list' (working) and 'blacklist' (problematic).
