Hi Everyone

Im a bit confused as im sitting at my desk at the moment. I need a bit of help.

I have a SE C902. My phone is set up to connect to GSM/3G. Now the problem is that at my house I have 3G/HSDPA outside (1m from my room door) but no HSDPA in my room.

One of my friends has a HTC Touch Diamond (Also on Vodacom) and he is able to connect at HSDPA in my room!!!!! This doesnt make sense. How can one phone get 3G but the other not. Both from the same network?

Depends on the sensitivity of the 3G antenna and transmission power of the specific phone.

On some phones, like the Omnia, you need to enable HSDPA. Otherwise it will only connect to a GSM/3G network. Might be the same case with your phone.

I have a similar question:

On my 076 number, I get max 3.6Mbps connection (tower permitting) and download at avg speeds between 300 and 400Kbps (permitting good websites of course)... Its a Samsung F480 with 7.2 HSDPA capability

Now here is the question... When I swap this sim card for the 072 number on the same device, I can bearly achieve an avg speed of 10Kbps let alone browse ...

I have been in contact with Vodacom Data Centre, and all the **** Rep can tell me is that my PC settings are incorrect !

I've been battling this problem now for about 2 weeks, and have no idea who to ask anymore.
