HSDPA Speed Tests/Review

Something must have changed, this is what I managed to get this evening (Olympus, Pta):

Telkom (local) test (with a cleaned out cache): 1632 kbps!

Speakeasy: NYC 591 kbps download, 124 kbps upload
LA 650 kbps download, 110 kbps upload

This is more like it :D
 
N70 With 3G

Just for interest sake...

Im using N70 on vodacom with data cable connection to laptop and getting 44.8kB local and 44.4kB international.... for me thats quite impressive... no disconnection issues whatsoever....

In Centurion, getting signal up to the third bar in the status bar and 640kbps according to the Telkom speed test.

Just got these results in Arcadia (Pretoria):

Telkom Test
Download time: 3.703 seconds
Size of file: 500 KiloBytes
Estimated line speed: 1101.8 (kilobits/second)
Estimated line speed: 135 (kiloBytes/second)

Sentech DL Test (512k)
Your download speed is: 89.63 KBps, or 717.04 Kbps

Sentech UL Test (646k)
Your upload speed is: 7.1 KBps, or 56.77 Kbps
 
Nope but here is some of mine:

Download Speed tests:
GameCo: 549 kbps
Sentech: 686 kbps
Telsuck: 815 kpbs

This was at 4 in the afternoon in PTA east
 
Speed Test

hi

just got HSDPA today

my speed test on telkom was 384 Kbps this is low compared to what you gus are getting.

i live in knysna and I have installed the new VMC 7.

How do i know that i am acctualy connected to HSDPA and not to 3G
