How do you get to that?

TCP is a connection-orientated protocol and UDP will do handshaking at the application layer. There is no 'caching' of sessions.

I can only speak from practical experience. I understand all the gobbledygook about TCP/ IP connections, but this does not seem to apply here.

-Scenario 1 - testing with PP Sim loaded with R 100 airtime, theoretically this should be good for 50MB of traffic. Start download of 45MB TurboCash update. Check folder for other versions and notice that I allready have said update and cancel download after 4MB.

Check usage on V4Me.co.za .......... balance = R 0.00

Scenario 2 - You get disconnected from tower but the meter keeps on running for data you will never receive.
