HTC have announced on their Facebook page that the Gingerbread update for the Desire should roll out by the end of July.

Yeah, I'm sure I read this on MyBB a while ago too.

It was announced a week or so ago, but on the 9th they confirmed that it would be available by the end of the month..

Dudes... it's not going to be available via an OTA update. It has been made available via the developer site as a try if you choose option.

Bleh rooting was the best thing I ever did. Saved me having to wait for OTA updates.
