Hi guys, was wondering if anyone can help me solve an irritating problem. Every time I press the back or home button on my desire ie to return to the home menu from whatever app I'm in, I get this annoying HTC Loading screen that stays up for about 2 seconds.

I'm pretty sure it's a setting I turned on (or off) somewhere, because when I upgraded to Leedroid 2.0 the other day, the problem stopped, but as soon as I re-imported all my settings and so on it came back.

I don't really want to set my phone up from scratch again, but it would be better than this perpetual waiting nonsense. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I also get it. Only when i have been using Launcher pro @ the same time. No default set though.

I don't have launcher pro installed, so that can't be it...

Very easy to fix, open the "Spare Parts" application in your menu. Scroll down to "Activity/Process management" and make sure it is not set to "Aggressive" which I'm 99.9% sure it currently is. Set it to "Normal" and you should be fine.

is this only on lee droid and not standard 2.2?

THANK YOU!! Yes, I set it to aggressive a while ago.. Well that's sorted :)

:-) Good stuff.

@Mr Freesh : It is applicable to any Android phone that is "rooted".

My Desire is getting slower and slower, happening to anyone else?
