Not that I know of, I also wanted to "try before you buy" But no luck, I couldnt even find a shop with a dummy.

I was able to test my SE P1i on a website (think it was SE website but can't remember now) as a java type program which simulates the phone. Maybe try see if HTC has the same? I can't find anything on google :/

Its more about the touch screen input.. and the lack of tactile feedback... can you sms with out looking ?

you can go to the leaf store in cedar square, fourways... if you aint in jhb then good luck.

its pretty cool.

Are you serious?

Well, I can't. But I guess someone with enough effort or to prove a point can learn the screen keyboard and do it ... nothing's impossible. If you're a reg'lar user then the Diamond's not for you.

You're welcome to do test runs on my machine if you want. I'm Rosebankish in Joeys.

lol very unlikely, but would be a cool party trick....As Arthur said if you text a lot the Diamond probably isn’t for you, I am getting used to the on screen KB, but if I was texting a a lot I think it would start to irritate me a little.

with g-sensor, you could use the keyboard horizontally across the whole screen

the keyboard is fine IMO, and the transcriber option is also better than you think, it's like writing

Yeah thought as much.. looks like I will be waiting for the HTC Titanium..

Thanks
Guys

I'm a bit of a circus freak, I like to sms one handed and blindgfolded...

:)

Had a slide out qwerty on another phone for a while and not my preference..

I agree, I also need to feel a keyboard of some description under my finger tips but I played around with the Diamonds on screen numeric keypad with predictive text on and it worked very well, very responsive to the touch but you won't be doing that without looking...

There a voice menu navigation thing available, maybe you like to hear what button you pressed!
