HTC Evo 3D

+1 ... Same opinion here

Let us know what they said.
The EVO 3D is definitely going to be released by Vodafone UK, so maybe us Vodacom'ers in RSA have a chance.

IMHO the Evo 3D is the better featured phone, as it has 1GB RAM, and a bigger battery....and the 3D cameras might spark a complete new YouTube section. :)

Just phoned Leaf, the Evo 3D has not been confirmed for South Africa.

Thanks for letting us know. Was it a "has not been confirmed for South Africa YET", of more of a "has NOT been confirmed for South Africa EVER" ?

I spoke to Mohammed with an American accent, so wasn't sure if I should take him seriously.

I know Vodafone UK is definitely launching this phone on their network, which means we should be able to get it as well.

Hi Guys...The HTC EVO 3D will be available in South Africa towards the end of Q3. Sadly pricing has not yet been announced.

Here's a review of the Evo 3D : http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/15/htc-evo-3d-review/

So it looks like I'm keeping my Desire HD....

*Hearing only good things about the Sensation, might have to check it out. ;)

I truly hope that you don't just believe the first review that you come across, do spend some time and read the comments regarding this review of people that has used to phone in normal day life. The person that reviewed this phone had PMS or something, I have seen other Engadget reviews and this is totally BS. Again, go and read the comments.

I used to have a high regard for Engadget's reviews.

Not anymore.
