HTC happy with Apple settlement

Don't know why the Peter Chou is even supprised, he should have known Apple and it's rumour mill were going to use every type of media outlett to turn this into a massive win for Apple.
 
I rather suspect Apple was desperate to settle and gave HTC very good terms.

They've been battling on too many fronts and not doing so well.

Question is, will Samsung settle, or will Samsung go thermonuclear on Apples bogus patents?

How do you know Apple did anything?
Really

The way the press watch Apple any news or rumour morphs into many articles.
It does not need to be true.

Actually Apple is known to be more silent on the PR and media relations front than almost all.
In fact many times the non-facts shoot them in the foot.

So how do you know Apple did anything to spin anything?

Even if they did not start it, they allowed it to perpetuate through their silence. Actually you sumed it up better.
