The above mentioned phone is going to be my next upgrade without a doubt, does anyone here have experience with the phone? I've read quite a few reviews and all of them are very positive.

On another note, the last upgrade I took was in March 2008 and I took an HTC Tytn2 payable over 2 years at R75 per month. The problem is that the service provider tells me I still have 4 months to pay as it lasts from the date the new contract starts until it ends which is end June or there abouts.

I just checked through some old bills and these bastards have been charging me for the new phone since April last year which in effect will make my HTC payback period 27 months.

It's only a case of around R225 but this is surely criminal, how many other people haven't noticed this.

Basically what they've done is started charging me for my new handset from the date I received it instead of from the first day of my renewed contract and then charging me until the new contract ends.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I got mine two weeks ago and I must say I am quite impressed. The phone has a few functions that I thought unnessarry but I am enjoying most of the features.

Coming from a Tytn2, you may struggle with the lack of hardware keyboard.
I found touch-typing to be rather painful, hence I opted for the Touch Pro 2. I must say I found this useful though: http://www.swypeinc.com/

All in all, this is a great phone and I'm sure you're gonna enjoy it.
Be sure to get a screen protector to keep her good looks :)

It is, i'm getting one on the anytime 500 from MTN for R609 p/m. You can get it on the anytime 200 for R379 p/m
Cool, what about Anytime350? Looks like hardware subsidy is around R4k on anytime200 and R2.6k on anytime500... mmmm...

So the time has come for my upgrade and no one has stock of the HD2.

If anyone has one and doesn't want it or prefers a different phone I'm prepared to get what you want and trade:(

AND THERE'S STILL NO HD2's at VODAWORLD / SANTON / FOUR WAYS / CENTURION AREAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Leaf says they've distributed it to the service provides, so why has no vodacom shop any stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:
