HTC Hero now or wait

I need some advice please. I'm impressed by the Hero, slightly concerned about having no flash on the camera.

When are the Android "Replacement to the Hero" going to be launched here?

It depends. I almost never use my camera. Problem is, the launch dates for a lot of android phones are not set in stone, and we don't know if we will even get the nexus one officially. How soon do you need a new phone? I'm quite happy with my Hero.

EDIT: The htc bravo looks nice, but once again we don't know when SA will finally get it. Phones shipping with LED flashes (like the nexus one) are limited to close objects anyway.

Is the Bravo HTC's successor to [-]Their own[/-] Google's Nexus One?
All these time frames are April onward, and that's only the international launch.

I just upgraded from an iPhone 3g to a Hero and it was definately a good move.

The phone is great and has no lag in the UI and the camera is pretty good

About the only issue you might get is finding a cover for it

Be very careful... I bought a Hero last year, but because of Leaf SA incompetency, is still stuck with the old ROM. They have promised updates for month, but have broken all of them. Every time I call, they have a different story.
