HTC One available June on Cell C

According to Cell C on twitter, they will stock the HTC One in June. Which could quite possilby mean July until you have your device in hand...

I dont blame Cell C to be honest, I blame HTC. They announced and released the HTC One before Samung released the S4 yet somehow the S4 is being released on 24 April??

Well done Samsung. You have put another nail in HTC's coffin, partly due to their own doing.

I was intent on getting the HTC One, but with these kind of delays, people (like myself) arent going to sit around forever and wait.

The HTC One is very close to being in the stores in the US and the important EU countries, and they are doing quite a bit more marketing this time around.

In SA it's both the SP's and HTC. SA SP's prefer to only stock a sure thing. If there is a slight suspicion it won't sell by the tens of thousands, it is written off. 3 seconds after the SGS4 launch cellc had a pre order page on their website, and not a word about the HTC phone. I do think however that HTC could do more to get these phones to the SA SP's asap, and to make testing the phone on their network quicker and easier.

I am on my 4th HTC, if you count the one that was the HTC equivalent(Can't remember the name of it now) I have not had one issue with any of them, so I'll be sticking to the HTC again when upgrade time comes in July. Don't even need to replace my sensation as it is still as good as new. Internet pass-through is the thing that I will miss most if I had to move over to Samsung. Delays are fine, I can wait.

Agree with the above.

I had an HTC phone, and also took a while before that model got into stores. HTC need to sort out issues like this to gain market share. Nobody is going to look at that phone once the S4 lands. They had a chance to sieze some market share - but wasted the opportunity.

3rd HTC ..upgrade is now June :/ but MTN sales oke told me "we will be getting it but not sure when sir"

That sucks!

I'd rather run my contract for some time still till it's available ,Samsung wont be getting my money!

Just spoke to MTN Direct today. They have launched the phone but have no stock, I should check with the actual stores which might have stock :/

At least I have 3 months to go for my upgrade, so the wait is not too distressing. Hopefully by then we get access to the 64GB version.

I've got a friend who's also in the same pickle. Desperate for the One but no sign and beginning to want to give in and get an S4 or Xperia Z after all.
