The HTC One Mini has been launched in South Africa by distributor Ingram Micro

Good to see their new distributor on the ball with new devices after HTC's own rather indignant exit from the local sphere. Such a shame HTC doesn't have Samsung's marketing savvy and budget.

Brand awareness is one way of raising the bar but pricing also needs to be aggressive. HTC should follow what Huawei has done locally to raise their profile.

I personally prefer the build quality of HTCs as compared to the Samsungs. HTC needs to get back in the game in SA. Bring in some other models !!

I also much prefer the HTC phones above any other android, but HTC is still in **** street and it doesn't seem to be looking up.

Good for them you do know that's good working capital management and when you're the big dog you don't let the tail wag the dog.

A pity that their marketing is not up to scratch,all my smartphones have been HTC and with edition of this mini I don't see it changing.I wish them all the best.
