What version is your SA map? V660? What I don't like about TOMTOM is you need to pay for map upgrades, while Handymap gives you lifetime free upgrade (new update every 6 month).
 
V680. Yes it seems that you will have to buy the upgrades. You should also look at Garmin. I have used Handymap and I just don't like it. The Garmin South Africa streetmaps are very expensive ... if you buy ;) them.

Found V680........Handymap is not as user friendly as Tomtom, and it's a bit slow on my PPC. But I haven't tried it after I upgraded to new WM6.1 ROM, which significantly improved running speed.

Hey guys, when i got my p3300 from vodacom i just phoned leaf and told them i didn't recieve the memory card with the Navigon and RSA maps on lke it said on their website as they are the local guys for HTC, and i picked my 512mb card the next day. PM if u need help!

Actually just had to re-install, typical windows install and uninstall to many programs and it starts crashing and "the blue screen of death" occasionally

Can anyone maybe help me get Garmin mobile XT to work, it just wont connect to my gps.

i had a similar problem with Garmin Mobile XT. What worked for me was to download the proper official installer from Garmin's website (i.e. the install file for Garmin Mobile XT PPC version). This version detected my GPS on an internal com port.

ok i downloaded it yet it does the same as before, puts my bluetooth and gps on but doesnt connect to the gps when it says scanning attatched it seems like its picking up something but no luck!
 
I just got my P3300 also with TomTom 6 & maps installed manually by myself but my no GPS device is being detected. I've changed under preferences in TT to internal GPS and it still says "no GPS device"
 
p3300 without gps.awesome. the gps does not want to work. it just does not want to pick up my current location at all. Some please post suggestion to make it work. I bought it only for gps and it seems to be worthless now.thanks in advance.
