You can use the on screen keyboard with your finger ... you can play bubble breaker with your finger ...
... and you can pick your nose with your finger ... and use the stylus as MyDraadloos suggested. What more can a man wish for?

Okay so i have been playing with the device for about an hour ... the interface is very cool ... HTC has a weather application on the today screen ... but no weather for Cape Town .. how crappy is that .. Pretoria is inthere .. by the way the weather prediction for today in PTA is a high of 20 ... currently 12 degrees celcius and a low of 5 ... damn its cold there.
the touch screen takes some getting used to ... the LCD is set quite low below the actual touch panel which is a lot thicker than your standard TFT LCD found in the current range of devices. Normal stylus navigation and typing etc feels very different ... i am still getting used to the accuracy.
the device is ultra thin and it has a really good feel about it. you just cant put it down.
Read this on how to add Cape Town ........ if you are bored you can make a new xml file file all the most popular spots ...... and share with lazy inept people like myself.

So... any more details on the Touch? Recommended?
Has the Touch been released in South Africa yet?
I really want this phone, I've been trying to find out when it'll be available in SA, because R5K is a bit much.
I've tried calling Leaf Wireless, but no-one at their sales department answers, I've tried emailing them, no reply (its been two weeks). I've emailed Vodacom to find out when they'll have stock and they sent me some generic "we first have to test the handset and we cannot confirm the date of testing..blablabla thank you for your query".
Anyone here have any idea when it will be available locally and what the price might be? or should I rather buy an import?

R 5600.00 buys you a spanking new Touch .. PM me
If your name was "The Girl" and you offered me an HTC touch for R4600 and a spankihng for R1000, youd have a deal.
Exactmall is selling it for R4999 with a one year warranty, the most expensive price I've seen online was R 5500.. R5600 is just to much, sorry.
Thats pretty cheap. I thought it was a model up from the TyTn?
