Yeah, that one ... rather using the N95 now, as the cell signal is better in this hole than with the TyTN, so I can actually make/receive phone calls

JaMMeX, if you read that forum correctly, it is the Wizard thread. You have the a Hermes device. A Wizard ROM cannot be flashed on a Hermes device.

You can either wait for Schap's new ROM which will be released in a few days time or if you cant wait any longer try his BETA ROM:

Don't complain about anything as it is a BETA, and may have 1 or 2 things that aren't perfect.

The TyTN has been my lifeblood the last few days here in the Cape. Have been able to get connected in the strangest of places. Now if I can only get Shozu to upload to Pikeo and Facebook.

One weird thing ..... I wanted to change my weather settings to Cape Town but when I try to get a weather update it restarts the phone.

It's an oddity with the HTC home plugin that comes with Schaps 3.6 - the xml file that has all the cities listed has some extra characters against Cape Town - if you edit in a text editor (it is in the windows directory) and correct, then it works fine for Cape Town.

My dad just got the TyTN II

It does seem quite a bit better than the TyTN I

Pre-loaded ROM is VEEEERRRRY slow tho.... u need to tweak it seriously i think!!

Have been on Schap's 4.00 ROM with Radio:1.54.00.10 for the last week or so and I'm very happy with it so far.
Has anyone heard a peep from Leaf regarding the official SA WM6 Rom?
