HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

yeah, rather get the space saving one and install pocketxpdf(only 1MB) or download and install adobe separately to storage card. Adobe one is 9MB

@ditVIBE

What is better in the new ROM? (I'm going to download it anyway since I have a free gig to waste the next 3 months!!!)

And what is that 8525 Keyboard fix in the optional apps?

Rapidshare tells me I must wait 24 mins... will the page refresh itself?

From the first comments there seems to be a memory leak in 0.20.0

Did Kyphur change any of the "additional apps" for download from last time ?

Windows Live Mail is working lekker, but I want to be able to see my other mail in the same way.

@jhart

check a coupla pages back to see the changes in 0.20
8525 is the american cingular rebranded version of TyTn, don't worry about it.

@draadloos

huh???

what is a memory leak???

Ta ! Download done , sorry suckers ! I can't seed ...........

If you add up all the memory the apps should be using and you end up with less spare than what you should have.

Also as you use apps there could be less and less memory available.

Or that is how I understand it ........ the P990 suffers from similar problem.

Hmm.. Just had a power failure. Don't think it would be a bright idea to do a ROM update in this weather.

I guess ill wait for storm to calm down.. I read majority of the stuff of the xda forum.. The only serious problem is the wifi apparently and thats it.

Is anyone using the 1.35 Radio?

well, WiFi & the mem leak. BTW, I always update from my lappie :D take eskom outta the equation.

Hey guys, Is this the update including the video calling etc ?

Video calling is not embedded in this ROM. Must be installed separately. Who of you out there has ever actually used video call?

OK cool, so what is the difference between this and and normal cooked crossbow rom ?

Hi guys.

I'm not gonna read through this whole thing, so my apologies if this has been sorted already.

I am about to get a HTC Tytn from MTN.

I noticed they stock both the Tytn and the Jasjam.

Which is better?
I noticed the Jasjam looks better, but I am more concerned about performance than looks.

Thanks.

@Coza
This is just the newest version.

@nawu
there are 3 differences
1.The one is black and says JasJam, the other is silver and says TyTn.
2.The JasJam has the Herm100 front button layout, the Tytn has the Herm200 button layout.
3.The jasjam costs R300.00 more than the TyTn.

in ALL other aspects they are exactly identical, both made by HTC. I got a TyTn, why pay R300.00 more for the same thing?

Thanks.
Got to agree with you. Think I will settle on the TyTn.
