* MS Hearts

* VJCandelaLite (Flashlight)
* VJLumosIII (Bright Screen)

integrated the following Registry Fixes:
* By default only the Date Plugin is enabled (and it is set to a single line).
* The about screen shows " - XDA" after the OS Build Number.
* Pressing & Holding the Comm Button toggles the between Vibrate & Normal.
* Memory Cache & Storage Card Fixes are Applied.
* Disabled the warning for Unsigned Applications (Application Lock).
* Connection Band (E/G instead of U) displays correctly.
* Added a Registry Key to support "internet-flatrate" by o2.

Misc:
* OS Version is edited to 5.1.195 (Build 17217.6.0.0) - XDA. This should allow Blackberry Connect & GoodLink to work with it.
* WiFiInit is embedded.
* SetHSPDA.exe is embedded.
* ClearVuePDF is back.
* Internet Calling Todat PlugIn is embedded. (still working on Comm Manager support for config)
* Note Recorder Press & Hold Button 5 is restored.
* ATI Video Driver dll has been replaced with the one from AKU 3.3.
* New XDA Windows Mobile Splash Screen (welcomehead.96.png).
* Areo Today Screen Theme is embedded.
* XDA Live Test is removed from the Today Screen.

Known Issues:
* Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) conflicts with BlueTooth.
* Turn Off Wi-Fi link is missing from "Connections Bubble".

The following are missing:
* Video Call.
* Push To Talk.
* Smart Dialer.

Available Options (as seperate Cabs)
* 8525 Keyboard Layout Fix
* Cyberon Voice Dial.
* Pocket MSN (without Live!).
* Windows Live! Mobile.

Next update will prob take 2 more weeks.
 
Deleting shortcut from start menu.

How do I delete a shortcut from the start folder. This would be for an app I uninstalled, yet the name is still visible there.

tried settings/ menu / , but it tunes me "Cannot move that item"

Should I just ignore it till Wednesday when we get ROM'ed up again ....... or is there a quick fix.
 
@draadloos, if you uninstall an app embedded in the ROM, you can't remove it from the start folder.

of course I'll post the link wednesday :D

This app was not embedded on the ROM, it was the push mail service I was using. After the flash I made the mistake of installing it to the mem card which caused the phone to lock up.

So I uninstalled it from the mem card and moved it to the phone mem again.

So now I have 2 icons in the Start menu, one being working the other being a dud "windows" icon.

You dig ?

Not sure why it did not uninstall properly ...... will send them a snotty mail.

Use file explorer. Go to My Device, Windows, Start Menu,Programs??
 
Quick question... it's all good and well to update the ROM etc etc... but there are two things i wanna know how i can back it up so it won't be lost upon the NEXT ROM update:
1. The Auto Text when you type SMSs / Emails
2. The VoiceDialer custom voice commands

I have over 800 contacts... and i am NOT gonna redo it each time... any ideas?

How to remove the XDA Live script from the Today screen:

start>programs

Open PHM reg editor
Scroll to \HKLM\Software/Microsoft\Shell\DeviceBeta
Change the Value to anything you want or delete the today string to have no user text display on the today screen.

Power the device down by keeping in the power button.
Power up by pressing the power button again.

PS. You could have just read a few pages back or done a search

After wasting too much time on the line to Vodcom Data Services (082155) :mad: who pretty much know nothing...:confused: it looks like I am highly likely to get an answer to my question here!?

Is my HTC Tytn "really" HSDPA compatible...or so Leaf tells me. At the moment I get around 75% of 384 kb/s which I guess is the UMTS speed?

WMXL 0.0 ROM will be released about 12:00 tonight.

not at this moment, vCards can only be sent via mms,sms & infra red

Hi, also get similar speeds and in the heart of sandton. My 3G vodacom card receives HSDPA but not the tytn!!!!!!!!!! Using it as a wireless modem............
