HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

Transflash is the old name for MicroSD. it's one and the same thing.

me too. Black 3.0 is giving me some bluetooth, wifi & PIE problems. I'll wait for settings saviour to advance a bit further before I reflash though. Probably try the sleuth ROM next.

i got my poor tytn back yesterday after the no GSM problem. it was in jo'burg for more than a month. basically, they gave the insides of the phone a complete makeover. i even got a new screen. they only thing that stayed the same was the cover. it is good to have him back!!

Apps Installation Guideline on TyTN

Hello Guys

HTC X-Button

Sorry if I am bombarding you with some help request and user guides;)
I have this application called HTC X-button (freeware) - its designed to enable the X button to really CLOSE the applications (instead of leaving them running in the background). My only problem is that after successfully installing it, I cant find it under programs. Any ideas where this could be???

Thanks

Start - settings - check in your system tab

I had already tried looking for it in every possible location but NONE!!! I also tried to uninstall and reinstall it but still the same!!!
I also noted after installing it, it said that the following program may not display properly cause it was designed for a previous windows version.

Any ideas?

Thats weird ... what version of X - button do you have ???

Is it X button 1.5?

it is under start>settings>system>X button

if its 1.0 its under start>settings>system>task manager

I reinstalled mine yesterday after a ROM upgrade:

Start -> settings -> System: X-button

Have you done a soft reset after the install ?

Well x-button should be visible in the top RH corner of your today screen. Tapping it also gives access to the settings.

It might be obscured by clock if you have chosen analogue.

I haven't done anything to my phone except for installing applications. I am still trying to get used to the basics before I can dome some upgrades (WM6, Roms, Radio, etc). I can see the X-button under installed programs but I cant see it on the Start/Settings/System tab nor on the Today Screen (my clock is digital).

In the meantime, I use Resco to see and close running apps. I just hate having to open this app in order to close apps!!!

Thanks for all the responses!

I think it is being obscured by the clock in WM5. Get yourself a copy of the Pimp-My-Black app or HTtweakC so you can shift that clock around. Else call Leaf. None of us have WM5 anymore, so it is difficult to help you.

O2 Plus 2.3 will also do the same as X-Button 1.5, but will give you a tray icon.
