HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

How did u fix it (wat do u mean with Softkey)?.
I also wanna change my Stand by buttons. Foe examle, on standby my Left Softkey is assigned to Calendar and the right one is assigned to contacts. I dont see the point of having the Calendar whereas I do have it on my TodayScreen.

Any ideas?
 
Ok here goes, I installed the softkey.cab thingy and then went to Start-settings-system-softkey.

You have option there for left and right softkeys.
In my left key I have "New SMS"
In my right key I have "Phone".
You can just about put anything there. Works great. Let me know if you need help.
 
Date Issue

Hi huys

When I was on the Black 3.01, my date displayed like this: Saturday, 02 June 2007 but since I upgraded to Black Dymond 3.5 it only displays like this: 02 June 2007 Is there a software that I can use?
I know its a minor thing:p but it certainly compliments my phone, if u know what I mean;)

SMS's Disappear after Soft Reset?

Hallo guys (once mo)

I had 4 NEW SMS's (unread) in my inbox, I was also busy testing some apps, so I decidedto soft reset (using stylus). After rebooting I noticed that all those sms's have disappeard!!

Is this something normal to loose unread sms's after soft reset?
 
sorry for you - i dont' have that problem

I do have a few issues with this rom tho
- There's a lot of pressing/tapping a launch button with nothing happening
- email doesn't seem to work nicely, sometimes it asks me for server address when i go to the yahoo inbox

but other than that - i'm not too stressed about it....
Let's face it - you'd be resetting the Leaf ROM MANY more times a week than this one
 
right, that app only lets you change the short date format, not the long date one. Ok, before we start hacking your registry, go to start>settings>system>regional settings>date

for your preferred display the setting should be dddddd, dd MMMMM, yyyy
 
I am a proud owner of a 2 day old TYTN.

I need some basic help please - i cant seem to find answers in the manual etc.

Could i post my questions here??

Okay, then a quick registry edit should sort you out.

Load your registry editor (something like PHM regedit should work)

Go to HkeyLocalMachine>nls>overides

edit the SLDte value so that the data reads: dddd, dd MMMM, yyyy

power down the device by keeping in the power button. switch back on.

Thank You - Here Goes

1) How do i assign an MP3 file as a sms tone
2) Is there an app to create profiles (like nokia's profiles)
3) How do u make the damn alarm louder or assign an MP3 to the alarm clock.
4) There is no backup/restore option on Activesync


Sorry for basic questions - but im getting frustrated trying to get info
