That HTC Touch is a pretty sweet phone.

Well, the touch is quite good looking, and the interface looks ultra sweet, but the specs are a bit crap. And I'm not a 100% convinced i can live without the qwerty keyboard.

Yeah, but the issues aren't anything can't be fixed.. He just sorted out the HSDPA issue, and the rest of the issues are newb issues.. (Like: Where have all my contacts gone??)

I'm happy so far. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on new RADIO 1.43?
 
Mmmm.... dont' get confused with Black Shadow and Shadowmite...
I just installed Shadowmite... which actually doesn't look so bad... but i'm also downloading Black Shadow now....

Seems there are still some issues, there will be a revised 2G dialer and 3G version tonight @ about 8pm.

Say cheese when you see the flash ......
 
I changed to WM Black Pro 3.01 a couple of days ago. It's pretty much stable. But I had one incident of "Sleep Of Death" just now. Plus the major turn off is the Java Manager. For some weird reasons I cant run any Java files (OperaMini, GmaillApp, Talkonaut). I'm always using OperaMini so this is a deal breaker! I tried to install up to three other versions of Intent Midlet managers but same story.

With Black Dymond, I was able to run these apps BUT I couldn't use the stylus to operate them (Only the softkeys). Maybe the Black Shadow will be better. Otherwise...... well, I'm, not sure.

JJ mentioned that Intent won't work with 3.x. He told people to rather use it that Esmertec Java app he provided as a cab. Let me know if u want me to email the cab to you.

I'm together with atmos, one froze whilst installing all my apps. 1 reboot, and all is good now..

Are you running the esmertec Java midlet manager ? This one works fine with Gmail.
 
Hi all,

Thought I'd share with you guys: Had a Parrot Bluetooth Carkit and GPS (4300LS GPS) installed today, and running HandyMap 2005 on my TyTN ... it works like an absolute charm ... well, the 200m I drove out of the office gate. Will put it to the test on my way home this afternoon.

Nice thing is that the phone kit integrateds fully with the TyTN's contact list, including the voice dials, and the GPS integration with the TyTN/HandyMap is seamless, and pretty much spot on ito location and movement
