HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

I spoke to a guy at Imate via email and he says there is no available version of WM6 for the JasJam.. that just sux!!

Now... who can help me... am I out of date with my firmware etc?

ROM version: 1.31.305.2
Radio version: 1.21.31.10

help would be appreciated...

I had an online chat with them a few days ago. They said that WM6 is being evaluated by the engineers. No guarantees of implementation could be given though.

Dude.... i know you're new - but try to understand how difficult it is to repeat stuff OVER AND OVER when people don't read the forum....

There are over 2000 posts i know.... but there are some people who take a few days and actually read thru them ALL to get up to speed.

You can update your Radio for increased reception... less dropped calls... more battery life, etc etc etc etc etc (2000 pages worth)

Search for XDA in this thread and find out where the new ROMS are located - and for Radio info which was merely updated a few pages ago.

And install SSPL before u do anything
 
thanks dude! I read throught all of it, but was aware it was only for WM6 , so maybe i missed something.... thanks

All I want to know is where I can download a better radio version for my WM5 phone... and If it will bugger up my warrenty!

Weird Stuff Going on now!

Ok, my contacts button (lower left on today screen) has today developed a mind of its own.

It started after I received a couple of calls in Midrand where the caller could hear me but my side was dead although the call info stated "connected". This happened twice followed by a soft reset to rectify.

Since then my contacts activates by itself. I can see the it highlighting on the today screen, open up contacts and directly go to new contact. I would cancel from the menu, go back to today screen only to see it do it all over again, and again and again and again..........EISH!

Anybody see this before?
I'm running Majik, Radio 1.43 with the following Apps:
Spb Mobile Shell
Spb Wallet
Cyberon Voice Dialler

The rest is the Vanilla stuff in the Rom.

Khan, my guess would be Spb Mobile Shell being the problem ... I have seen some funky stuff happen on my old WM5 Rom with Mobile Shell installed. IIRC most of the functions in Mobile Shell is "standard" in Majik under the System folder in Programs, but I can be wrong

I've been using Mobile Shell with all my Roms and it's the 1st time I have issues.
I'm going to try the Official WM6 to see if I get the same issue.

K, found the @!ooDy! problem. My charger seems faulty! The phone only shows the symptoms when it's connected to AC power. Disconnect power and no issue.
To think I even contemplated going back to WM5 to see if it persisted...phew!
:D

BTW, the WM6 Official Asia version seems very stable and very fast! It loads a dopod splash screen which, even now that I'm back on Majic, still appears at boot.
Hope the Satin Rom will get rid of it!

Yep, thats the same feedback I've received ... funny thing though is that even though Office 2007 is installed, there are no shortcuts to it?!

Hey guys.

Since upgrading from Radio 1.41 (1.43 & 1.47) I experienced problems with the 3G network.

It show full strength but when I try to make or receive phones calls it just gives me the busy signal. Doesn't even go to mailbox. Also after then rebooting it doesn't want to connect to the network.

I change the band etc from AUTO to GSM and 1900....2100 and are then able to connect to GSM with EDGE signal.

Any else or any ideas.

I'm I correct in thinking that it's the Radio.

ROM is still latest official Leaf ROM.

Out of the three that you mentioned. I found that 1.43 is the best with regards to the Vodacom network.

Those busy signals I only recieved with 1.41.

Band is always set to AUTO for me.

Which network are you with?
