HTC TyTN / Imate JasJam

there is a touchflo "alpha" available from xda-developers ... haven't tried it though ... also in the making is a flash app to do the same thing.

Go for Black Satin, or (I am very tempted) go for Schap's latest 3.54b ROM

there are tons of cooked ROM's with a Touchflo look ... it makes use of hardware button to flip between the 3D cube interface ... its not real touchflo but the Today plugin is quite cool as well as the dialer.
 
Active Sync

Hey,

i want to upgrade my windows to WM6, i have flashed the SPL. but i think im having problems with active sync. When i plug my device in it does not sync..it just goes syncronizing all the time, and i think my device needs to be syncronized before i can upgrade because wen i tryed flashing my ROM, im getting error messages that it says i didnt flash my SPL. any help guys?

i first had Activesync 4.2 then upgraded to 4.5 but its still the same.

P.s i dont have any files to b syncd', the list is empty at the buttom

Which ROM did you flash it with ??? on active sync does it keep trying to
connect to your device or does it pretty much time out and ask you to trouble shoot your connection settings ???
also has anything else changed on your PC?? antivirus, firewall ???
 
i didnt flash my rom yet. i just flashed the HARD SPL. With activesync it keeps trying to syncronize my device but it just keeps going, i am able to explorer through my device etc but i think the syncing is the main cause of me being able to flash my device thats holding me back. and my pc is fine, nothings wrong with it.

IPL/SPL has no effect on synchronization. Maybe untick "advanced usb connectivity" under options in activesync.
 
I have spl 1.11 on my htc, how risky is it to flash wm6 without a more recent spl? and if it is risky could somoeone kindly post a link to spl2.10. just read this entire thread and for the life of me cannot find that link although I know it's there... tried mr vanxs link to the spl but i simply cannot connect to the url, is it just me?

Forgive my ignorance but is black satin an operating system in its entirety or does one require wm5 or wm6 with black satin being a clip on package?
 
Ok, Your link is the correct one. HardSPL V7 is the Olipro 2.10 SPL package. Go ahead and install it.

Black Satin is version of the WM6 Operating system. Flashing that will upgrade your ROM to Satin. I see that Jasjamming has released a beta of his new "Black X" ROM.

I'll stick with my Sleuth 3.2 custom thanx.

Anyone tried Radio Stack 1.50 yet?
 
I down loaded 1.50 and 1.43, apparently 1.43 is the pick of the bunch at the mo but alas I have had no luck installing either. Flashed back to wm 5.0, had black satin on for a bit, bought 25minutes and I think I shall wait for leaf's official launch of wm6.0, boring but I'm tired of trying... also can't find SPL 2.10 this morning, dam, I know there's no such word as can't... That link I posted is no good!!! what the F...?
 
Pardon me the link is good and the SPL is installed... What now? Lets try load radio 1.43. It was giving me a corrupt rom image yesterday...
 
Been having issues with phone memory. Had to uninstall some stuff. Looking OK again.

Been having good connectivity all the way from Cape Town as I chill on the back seat. Presume it will die at Bredasdorp.

Bike mount for the tytn?

Ok now for a break from the flashing for a while!

I'm trying to find a bike mount for my tytn. Seems I can't navigate without my tomtom anymore!

So has anyone seen a motorbike/mountain bike mount that will let me see the screen while riding?

Hmm, me runs off looking for Black X

I am running 1.5 ... nothing special ... if anything, maybe a bit more crappy than 1.48 (the official one that shipped with the HTC WM6 ROM)
 
Hmm, will maybe flash Black X beta 2 tonight/tomorrow ... looks interesting.

BTW, has anyone managed to get the hardware/software GPS com ports to work on the WM6 ROMs? My GPS (Parrot 3400) can't connect to either of the ports setup under connections ... I still have to create a software serial port via the bluetooth setup
