Problem is, to unlock the phone, the Guy has to buy the code for $40. Unfortunate, but there is no free unlocker for the P3600 on the net (that i've seen):(

So if anyone wants to donate the cash .. i will gladly abuse a device for the sake of science ;)

Yeah, some guys have flashed their Trinity Devices to activate the GPS. The TyTn has the same chipset, so it is suspected that it could work too. I don't think anybody's succeeded with the TyTn yet.

The thing about the Trinity is, to flash a new ROM on it, you have to change the CID (security level) to 0. To do that you have to unlock the CID and the SIM with a code. A code that people will generate for you at a price.:(

But the XDA developers are on it, one guy even said he already has an unlock that works. Supposed to be available after the weekend.

Quick question,

I just got back from site, and the TyTn screen is indeed rather useless in sunlight. Will a anti-glare screen protector alleviate this at all?

I have been lookng for screen protectors locally for the last month or so to no avail. Leaf has been a dead loss and I got tired of waiting for them to get stock. I eventually order 3 ClearTouch Antiglare screen protectors from boxwave which arrived yesterday.

Very mpressed with them. Nice quality, fits snugly and really does seem to cut down glare a little. Best thing is that I should get some extra mileage out of the screen now as well. If you are out in the sun quite a bit, I would recommend them, but don't expect miracles...

Thanx mate, i've ordered a martin fields overlay from the uk. With that & brightness tool posted earlier, hopefully i'll be ok.

Yeah if you haven't d/l the sunlight tool yet, now is a good time. This probably the coolest app. for this phone.

Simple and sufficient.
